Seasonal Fertilizer Applications

Our applications begin in the early spring and wrap up in the late fall with a winterization application to protect your lawn through the harsh winter months. The following is a description and approximate time of year for our fertilizer applications.

Application 1 – Slow Release Fertilizer plus Crabgrass Preventer (March-April)
Application 2 – Fertilizer plus Weed Control (May-Mid June)
Application 3 – A second application of Slow Release Fertilizer and Crabgrass Preventer (June)
Application 4 – Grub Control Application (June-August)
Application 5 – Slow Release Nitrogen Fertilizer to help the lawn recover from the summer heat and quick start fertilizer for new fall seed (Aug)
Application 6 – Winter Root Builder to help prepare the lawn for winter and assist with the green up of the lawn in the spring (Nov-Dec)
